House of Wonders is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Tanzania in the city of Zanzibar, and is the largest and tallest building in the stone city of Zanzibar
It is called the House of Wonders because it is the first house to enter the city’s electricity. The House of Wonders used to be considered a house of sultans in ancient times, but it has now been transformed, especially since the year 2000, into a museum containing some of the sultans’ possessions and belongings such as jewelry and clothes, as well as some furniture. It was built by the Arabs in 1883.

Things to do in Wonderland:
• Walk around the House of Wonders, which contains a number of monuments and properties of the sultans in previous ages, such as special tools and formal and informal fashion, as well as furniture, paintings bearing drawings of the sultans and other paintings of important historical figures that were kept inside the house as it is.
• There is also an old traditional Swahili ship inside the inner courtyard of the house and some of the Swahili fishing gear that you cannot miss. As for the outer square, there are cannons written on it in the Portuguese language.
• There are many cultural and artistic events taking place inside the House of Wonders, which you can participate in if one of your visits coincides with the date of their stay.
