Bosnia and Herzegovina visa for citizens of the Arab Gulf states

It is not required for the travel of citizens of the Arab Gulf states – United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Sultanate of Oman, Kuwait and Qatar – To Bosnia and Herzegovina to obtain a visa or visa, as it is one of the countries exempt from the requirements for obtaining entry and exit visa, transit visa and residence visa in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Please note that citizens of these countries can visit Bosnia if they have a Schengen visa (provided they have used this visa to enter a European Union country) or a passport from visa-free countries such as the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Australia, and Canada.

The documents required to obtain a Bosnia and Herzegovina visa

You must apply for a visa at the embassy or consulate in the country of the person wishing to travel, or at the nearest consulate in neighboring countries. Be sure to carry all the documents required to obtain a visa, as follows:

  • A passport valid for at least six months from the date of submitting the visa application.
  • A recent passport photo.
  • The visa application is complete with all the required details and data.
  • A copy of the residence permit (for residents of a country other than their own).
  • A copy of the airline ticket or itinerary, along with a voucher from the travel agency stating that the fares are fully met.
  • Travel insurance.
  • No objection letter from the employer or sponsor (if any).
  • Bank statement for the last three months.

Please note that the Consulate of Bosnia and Herzegovina imposes fees on those wishing to obtain a visa, which are divided as follows:

  • Short-term or transit visa: Equivalent to 146 AED.
  • Short term multiple entry visa: Equivalent to AED 269.
  • Long term multiple entry visa: Equivalent to 339 AED.
