On the night of 12-13 August 1961 AD, Soviet Prime Minister Nikita Khrushchev ordered the East Germans to place a barbed wire barrier that intersected with Berlin, in order to prevent people from crossing to the west. On August 13, East Germany preferred to replace the barbed wire with a wall made of concrete, as well as The wall was reinforced on the eastern side of Germany with electric fencing and machine guns.
