In light of the great change taking place in the world around us in all economic and social magazines that would also change the lifestyles and thinking of younger generations today, and thus the people’s tastes in fashion, music, cinema and specifically the cries of design.
And last year 2016 witnessed tremendous changes and this year inevitably there will be changes that will affect in different sectors, but let us get to know together the trends of design and hospitality expected in 2020 according to the vision of Doser Shenovi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “DRO Link”:
Travel effect
The persistence of globalization, the great advancement of technology, and the massive wave of information made available by the Internet have contributed to the increasing tendency of people to travel. As millennials travel today more than ever, which has influenced the travel options available to people of different budgets, and thus increased intensity within the travel and hospitality sectors resulting in various styles of furniture and great flexibility in design.
East effect
As globalization continues, it is difficult to ascertain the next destination given the expansion of many companies on a global scale in line with the growing opportunities and capabilities in the design of hospitality facilities.
Accordingly, visiting new countries, staying in different hotels, and testing various cultures contributed to enhancing the horizons of people. Eastern design revelations were not very popular in the past. Today, the West has adopted them to make western designs interspersed with oriental elements that are a favorite among travelers. .
Budget restriction effect
One of the biggest challenges stemming from the instability of the global economy is budget constraint. There is a growing demand for new materials that provide practical and cost-effective solutions.
Moreover, today traditional materials used in design are recycled into completely new fields. For example, marble is incorporated into bathroom designs, kitchens, and living rooms to take a different direction from its previous traditional uses. Metal finishes like copper and silver have also found their way into interior designs through new, rich and wide-ranging applications.
Lifestyle effect
The growing pressure imposed by an active lifestyle and business practices has prompted people to search for relaxation and tranquility in all living spaces so that toilets are receiving similar attention to living rooms by designers.
Although many people seek to communicate with nature, unfortunately, they spend most of their time inside the buildings. Therefore, we are looking for contemporary designs that harmoniously combine the interior and exterior spaces while simultaneously expanding the living spaces.
Color effect
People seek to live in a warm atmosphere in their homes, and this is why we are witnessing a growing popularity of colors that enhance this atmosphere, such as earthy color and green hues.
