On the western side of Bursa and in the Çekirge region are the hot-spring baths rich in iron and sulfur, whose fame has reached all parts of the Middle East, and its source is from Uludag Mountain
The discovery of hot springs in the Turkish Stock Exchange dates back to close periods to Romen times, when construction of the first hot spring baths began, and the Byzantine state also paid great attention to these springs.
Today hot spring baths are used by the Turks mostly, especially in the cold winter months and also enjoyed by Arab and foreign tourists. Kara Mustafa bath is the most famous baths of Bursa.
Some hot springs in Bursa contain high levels of sulfur, and their water temperature is high as it reaches 80 degrees Celsius, while others are characterized by its moderate temperature ranging between 38 – 57 degrees Celsius and also they are free of sulfur.

Design of Bursa baths
Hot spring baths are similar in Bursa in their design, where there is a large hall at the entrance where you can take off and wear clothes designed from marble, and there are showers of different sizes that are cleaned and taken care of continuously.
