  • The Janadriyah Cultural Festival: This festival extends for ten days. It is held in February or March of each year. The festival displays Saudi Arabian culture.
  • Annual King Cup Camel Race: More than 2,000 boys who have trained in the art of camel riding in Riyadh compete in this race.

Riyadh is the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the derivation of its name is due to the Arabic word equivalent to the meaning of gardens and meadows.
