Highlights of Malaysia
Malaysia is a group of large islands, mountains, fertile highlands and tropical rain forests. It is also rich in cultural, historical and natural monuments, the most prominent of which are:
- Gunung Mulu National ParkOne of the Southeast Asian natural attractions, located on the Malaysian island of Borneo in the state of Sarawak
- An angel: A Malaysian city located on the sea route between India and China on the southwest coast of western Malaysia, characterized by architecture, culture and delicious food.
- Taman NegaraIt is located in the northern part of western Malaysia, one of the oldest tropical rainforests in the world, attracts many tourists throughout the year, contains a national park with a wild life consisting of rare plants, exotic birds, and some rare animals such as the Asian elephants.
- Twin Towers (Petronas)They are located in Kuala Lumpur and are one of the tallest towers in the world, consisting of 88 floors, with a beautiful glass facade, and with Islamic motifs and arts.
- Penang: A large island located on the west coast and contains many museums and ancient historical houses.
- Cameron Highlands: Green hills with a tropical climate and lush landscapes, tea plantations, strawberries, and many others.
- SelangorThe most advanced cities that are populated after urban sprawl, contains a Formula One racetrack, the National Zoo, a huge amusement park, an indoor snow park, shopping malls, and Batu Caves as a Hindu shrine.
- Kuala Lumpur Train StationA large building designed as a result of eastern and western architecture, especially from Morocco and India, containing many trips such as Singapore and other destinations in Southeast Asia.
- Museum of Islamic Arts It is the largest museum in Southeast Asia, specially designed to display all the Islamic art, which contains 12 galleries.
- Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz MosqueLocated in Selangor, which is the largest mosque in the country and the second largest mosque in Southeast Asia after the Independence Mosque in Indonesia, it is distinguished by the blue and silver dome and its four minarets.
- Putra Mosque: The main mosque in Putrajaya, construction began in 1997. The mosque houses the office of the Malaysian Prime Minister.
The most famous Malaysian characters
Mahathir MuhammadMahathir Muhammad was born in 1925 in Alor Setar in Malaysia. He was Prime Minister from 1981 to 2003, working to improve the economy. He graduated as a doctor from the University of Malaya in Singapore, before entering politics, he started as a member of Parliament and then as Prime Minister.
Malaysian cuisine
As for the most famous dishes in the Malaysian cuisine:
- Rotignay: A traditional Malaysian breakfast consisting of dough, which is flour with eggs and ghee.
- Chicken curry: Complex complex of aromatic spices with chicken, curry and coconut milk.
