“There are two kinds of people who are keen to visit Goa, one that loves it and the other that underestimates them.” Yes, some people do that too!
Do not think that I am exaggerating: there are those who hate Goa fiercely, and there are others who love her madly. Surprisingly, though, the numbers of lovers and haters remain volatile between the two sides, the tourism sector in Goa is constantly growing steadily. And whether you love Goa or hate it, you should go on a trip to this place at least once in your life, to find out the reason for the big commotion raised around it.
Before I go on writing about my trip to Goa, I must admit that I am not an orphan with beaches, and although I may endure the great ocean with pleasure, those climates of sand, sunny climate and seafood do not represent my idea of the perfect vacation. With my friends ’attempts to convince me to give this popular tourist destination another chance, I reluctantly agreed to travel with them on the condition that we explore this vibrant state only at night, and that we do activities that break the routine, without going to nightclubs or dance bars at all.
And with the initiation of this challenge, I went with them to these exciting places, did I like it? I would be lying if I denied it!
Beach huts:
Delicious food, lively atmosphere and great drinks, that’s all you need to reach happiness during the night, but Goa’s beach huts give you so much more. These cottages are spread out on all beaches, and are suitable for everyone including couples, hippies, youth and solo travelers. You can head to the famous “Korlis” complex, located just after Anjuna Beach, a rustic cottage famous for its mouth-watering Goa dishes, exotic drinks, hookahs and charming sea views, and opens its doors until late at three in the morning.

While lovers of shopping will rejoice in this market, the person who walks quickly will slow down his walk from the magnificence of what he will see! Yes, it is the charm of Goa nightlife, which opens its doors on Saturday evening from 6:00 pm until late at night. This vast marketplace is located in the Arpora region, and everything is sold from shoes to carpets, herbs to clothing and home décor. A boundless ocean, the sound of waves caressing the shore, and a clear sky filled with countless stars. If this is not the bliss itself, what will it be? On a tiring day, draining you physically or mentally or both things together, all you want to do is get away from the routine without going too far. Take a walking tour with your close friends or loved one of the beaches of Goa, and try meditation as Zain Buddhist Sufis. Are you worried about your safety? Unless you are very adventurous and choose one of the secluded, unknown beaches, you will be completely safe.
