Medieval Stecci tombs

Ancient tombstones spread throughout Bosnia and the surrounding countries. They are related to the followers of the traditional Catholic, Orthodox and Bosnian Church and date back to the twelfth century. They are made of limestone and vary in shape, size and ornament. The cemetery was declared a world cultural heritage site in 2016 by UNESCO.
