Dancing House, or Fred and Ginger, is the title of the Nederlanden National Building, which is located opposite the Rashinovo Dam in Prague. It was opened in 1996 and was considered a tourist attraction in the Czech Prague
The striking feature of the building is the unconventional and controversial design of the time, set in a mixture of Baroque and Gothic buildings and new art.
It was named by Jerry Fried and Ginger, after famous dancers Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, but he gave up the idea, fearing the name would be banal.
The building is currently used for offices and restaurants, and also includes a hotel, and was printed on Czech 2000 coins in a series of ten centuries of architecture.
