Fragonard Musée du Parfum was created in 1983 by the well-known French perfume company Fragonard.
The museum is located inside the house of Napoleon III, a house built in 1860 AD in the heart of Paris, and its halls contain furnishings of the nineteenth century.
The museum, considered one of France’s finest tourist attractions, is specialized in displaying old perfume bottles and distillation tools that were used in the manufacture of their extracts.
The museum also offers some temporary exhibitions of other perfume companies, and displays the methods of manufacturing modern perfumes, along with the history of perfumery and packaging, to tell the story of a product that was considered legendary, and is now part of our daily life.
