The Jordan Archaeological Museum is located behind the Umayyad Palace in the famous Jabal Al-Qala monuments in the Jordanian capital, Amman, and it is considered one of the tourist places in Jordan.
The museum was built in 1951 to display a collection of different monuments that have been discovered in several archaeological sites in the country.
