Bani Add Cave Bani Add Cave is a natural cave located in the municipality of Ain Faza in the city of Tlemcen and is one of the most important tourist destinations in Algeria, which is located in the west of the country.
The Cave of Tlemcen lies at a depth of 57 meters below the surface of the earth, and extends along a length of 700 meters, and has a constant temperature throughout the year not exceeding 13 degrees Celsius.
The discovery of the cave dates back to the first century BC, by the Berbers who used it as an impregnable fortress against the invasions of that period.
Tlemcen Cave enjoys its location surrounded by natural features, such as the Tizi Ouzou and Bejaia forests where olive trees, apples and apricots, and Tamanrasset volcanic rocks and others.
