Barcelona Aquarium Barcelona is located in the Port Ville region, which is one of the ports of Barcelona and one of the most important tourist destinations in Spain
The aquarium includes 35 aquariums containing 11,000 aquatic creatures, which belong to 450 species of aquatic life.
The aquarium contains a total of five million liters of water, the largest basin is 36 meters in diameter and 5 meters in depth.
The aquarium was opened in 1995 and offers many activities to its 14 million visitors to date.
The Barcelona Aquarium is part of the Spanish gardens of Asbro, and contains a tunnel up to 80 meters under the waters of the Spanish Gulf.

Activities you can do
• At the beginning of your tour, walk around the Aquarium within bridges that pass all regions of the basin, especially the Mediterranean region.
You and your children can also visit the shark aquarium to see the trout or whale shark up to 12 meters long.
• One part of the aquarium that will interest your little ones is the Explora, an area dedicated to explaining the region’s ecosystem and water in an entertaining way for children.
You should visit Planeta Aqua, which offers interesting presentations on the different aquatic environments and their historical impact on the evolution of biological creatures.
• If you are a fan of adventure, the Aquarium Department offers many activities, the most important of which is diving with sharks accompanied by trained guides.
• Do not forget, you and your children, to cross the water tunnel to enjoy taking pictures of many types of small and huge fish, such as moss and giant octopus.
• At the end of your tour, before arriving at the Aquarium exit, you will find the gift shop, which is designed in the shape of ships and includes games and souvenirs.
