Souss-Massa National Park is located on the coast of Agadir, on an area of more than 33,800 hectares.
The park was established in 1991 AD and is bordered to the north by the mouth of a river, and it is considered one of the most important tourist places in Morocco and the most visited.
The park is a nature reserve that includes many plants and wild and domestic animals, as well as sand dunes, beaches and wetlands.
The importance of the park lies in its implications, as it includes the rare Bald ibis bird colonies, the planned sherry bird, and some other species.
The park also embraces some rare mammals such as Maha Abu Harab, Maha Abu Adass with corrugated horns, gazelle deer, and others.
