The Romen Theater, which dates back to the 2nd century AD, is considered one of the most important tourist attractions in Jordan in the Jabal Al-Qalaa area in Amman
The Romen era theater, when the city of Amman was called Philadelphia, can accommodate approximately 6000 people, and is located in the eastern part of the famous Hashemite Square.
The amphitheater is divided into three horizontal sections, side entrances one of which leads to the choir, and the other to the theater, and some rooms behind those entrances.
The theater is currently used to revive national parties and perform annual country festivals, and interior rooms include the Jordanian Popular Tradition Museum and the Jordanian Folklore Museum.
