Old Town Square is a historic square in Prague’s Old Town, located specifically between Wenceslas Square and Charles Bridge and is considered one of the tourist places in the Czech Republic in Prague.
The square includes many different architectural styles, between Gothic and Baroque and Renaissance architecture, and includes a number of churches and monuments.
The square is used on holidays and official occasions to create markets that resemble medieval markets, are decorated with the most beautiful colors, and a platform for musical performances is established.
In the center of the square is a statue of Jean Huse, who was executed for burning his religious beliefs in the city of Constance, and whose execution led to the Bohemian War.
The square includes the Gothic Church of the Virgin, the astronomical clock, the Baroque Nicholas Church, and the Kinsky Palace which has become an art museum, along with cafes and boutiques.
