Babylon Fortress Cairo, Qasr Al-Shamaa, or Babylon Fortress located in the city of Cairo in the Misr al-Qadima neighborhood near the Amr ibn al-Aas Mosque. It was built in the second century AD during the era of the Romen occuAl Bahahn of Egypt, and then underwent restorations later.
The fort was built with stones taken from pharaonic temples and completed with red bricks, but now there is nothing left of it except the tribal door, which is surrounded by two large towers.
