The Sultan Abdul Samad Building is located along Jalan Raja Main Street, and in front of Independence Square in Kuala Lumpur
The building dates back to the late nineteenth century and was known as government offices in its early years and includes the offices of British colonial administration.
In 1974 the name of the building was changed to Sultan Abdul Samad, who was governor of Selangor when he started construction and building.
Today, the building is used as offices for the Ministry of Information, Communication and Culture, and it is considered one of the prominent tourist attractions in Malaysia locally and globally.
The building consists of two floors, and the length of its façade reaches 137.2 meters, and it includes spacious balconies, some ornate towers, the central clock tower and others.
