Golestan Castle is located 5 km from the city center of Shamkhi. The castle was a strong structure surrounded by the walls of the Shirvan Palace.

Mirza Al-Akbar Saber’s house is a memorial museum dedicated to the poet Mirza Al-Akbar Saber. It was established in 1962 AD on the centenary of the poet’s birth.

Derry Baba Shrine

Deri Baba Shrine is a memorial to Sheikh Deri Baba, located in the town of Kubustan, which is 35 km from the center of the city of Shamkhi, Azerbaijan.
The shrine stands in a square on a cliff, a two-story building topped by a white spherical dome with a pointed head.
Archaeological research indicates that the history of the shrine dates back to 1402 AD, and is decorated with mosaic drawings by a calligrapher called Darwish.
