Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands

The Baths is a diving paradise in the Caribbean, a mixture of ancient underwater rocks that form a series of caves and pools along the Virgin Gorda coast in the British Virgin Islands. Thanks to the calm and protected waters, even novice diving owners can enjoy the beauty of coral rock formations while rowing from hidden pools to the main beach.

Bonaire Marine National Park

Bonaire is one of the favorite destinations for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts. The Bonaire National Marine Park surrounds the island, from the coastline to the point where the water depth reaches 200 feet, which is the best protected coral reef system in the Caribbean. Human activities range from swimming, canoeing, windsurfing, diving and snorkelling.

El Yunque National Forest in Puerto Rico

The Yoniki is the most famous rainforest in the Caribbean, and is also the most beautiful. The park in northeastern Puerto Rico is not huge, but its area includes amazing biodiversity, as it is home to thousands of local plants and hundreds of animal species. Besides swimming in the cool rivers, hiking, fishing and even camping are available for those who truly want to immerse themselves in the experience of rainforests.

Twin volcanic peaks in St. Lucia

The twin volcanic peaks known as The Pitons rise greatly from the sea. This area includes active hot springs, coral reefs and tropical forests. If you are a fan of adventure, challenge yourself to hiking to the summit of one of two summits, Gros Piton, which is 2,619 feet long.

Soufriere Hills in Montserrat

This is definitely a dangerous destination, but it is worth a visit if you are a fan of the challenge. The highly active Soufriere hill volcano in Montserrat was a blessing and a curse for the locals. A large volcanic eruption that started in 1995 destroyed the small island, making the southern half of Montserrat uninhabitable and burying the capital of Plymouth under the ashes, killing 18 people. But the volcano is also an irresistible temptation for island visitors, who can see the current eruptions and abandoned buildings from a former golf course now covered with volcanic mudflows. Tourists can also visit the Montserrat Volcano Observatory volcano observatory, which closely monitors activity in the Soufriere Hills.
