The nature reserves in the Arab world are many and varied, each of which differs according to the natural environment, from multiple terrains, different ecosystems, and biological diversity, both wild and marine. Dana Biosphere Reserve
This reserve is located in the town of Dana, on the slopes of the Qadisiyah Mountains, which rise more than 1500 meters from the sea in Tafila Governorate, which is the largest natural reserve in Jordan, and has an area of 300 square kilometers. It was established in 1989 and is a series of rocky valleys and mountains that extend from the extreme East of the Jordan Valley to the valley of the Wadi Araba desert. Its mountains are surrounded by dense green forests, hills and plains with a small pebble surface and golden sand. The reserve is considered one of the most diverse regions in the country in terms of environmental regulations, as 190 species of birds, 37 species of mammals and 36 types of reptiles have been registered, and there are 25 types of rare and dangerous animals.

Ras Mohamed Reserve
It is an Egyptian marine reserve located in South Sinai, 12 kilometers from Sharm El-Sheikh, with an area of 480 square kilometers, adjacent to the Gulf of Aqaba from the east and the Gulf of Suez from the west. The natural rocky walls of the eastern edge of the reserve separate it from the Gulf of Aqaba. There is also a mangrove canal that separates the Ras Muhammed peninsula and the Al Bairah Island. The various coral reefs surround the reserve in all its marine aspects and constitute a unique composition that has a great impact on the natural life of the region which is rich in colorful fish and rare aquatic life, which makes it a wonderful tourist place for diving and one of the best natural reserves in the Arab world.
The National Park of Jarjira
This 18500 hectare nature reserve is located in the mountains of Jarjara in northern Algeria, on the northern slope of the state of “Tizi Ouzou” and part of the southern slope of the state of Bouira and is one of the most beautiful tourist areas in the country, especially in the winter when snow covers the mountain peaks from September to May. The reserve includes a number of caves, valleys and forests, among them two forests are crowded with oak and rice trees, and 122 species of birds live, such as the tribal nut fraction that can be found in Algeria only.
Bouknereen National Park
This nature reserve was established in the year 1987 in Jebel Bouknern in the north of Tunisia, near the coastal city of Hammam Anf. And live in this garden, which has an area of 1939 hectares, 25 species of mammals, the most important of which are wild boar, jackal, fox and baboons, in addition to bats that live in caves and ancient mines. The name of the Etruscan shrew. The garden abounds in a diversified plant cover, which contains no less than 525 species of plants, and it is considered the only site in the whole of North Africa, which includes the Persian cyclamen.
Talasman National Park
This park is a nature reserve located in the countryside in the north of Morocco in the region of Bab Taza, specifically in the mountains of Qaraq in front of the village of Achshor near the regions of Mashr Magoo and Ghazalan, and its most important terrain is the mountain range of the countryside. Extending over an area of 589 square kilometers, 73 percent of which are forests, one of the richest wild areas in the country in terms of biological diversity, as the park includes cedar tree formations covering an area of 3000 hectares, in addition to 1,380 plant species. The park also houses more than 40 species of mammals that inhabit sculpted caves inside the mountains, and they contain more than a hundred species of birds, in addition to about 30 types of reptiles and frogs.
Tannourine Nature Reserve
The reserve is about nine kilometers from the city of Tannourine, with an area of about 195 hectares, and is considered one of the largest and most dense rice forests in Lebanon, with about 60,000 trees, and rice makes up about 90 percent of it. This reserve is located in a rare region of camels above the hills and mountains, and separates it from the capital, Beirut, approximately ninety kilometers. It also includes rare flowers such as lavender, and various types of mammals, and has been classified by the World Bird Council as an important bird region.
Saiysad National Park
Saiysad National Park is located to the northeast of the city of Taif, and it is considered one of the most important tourist areas in Saudi Arabia, and it got its name because of its connection to the famous Saiyad Dam. It stands out as a nature reserve surrounded by mountains covered with dense trees and vast green areas, including plants, mountains, plains and springs, and contains a number of valleys such as Wadi Al-Arj and Wadi Sisad, and the park is equipped with all facilities and services from bathrooms, mosques to barbecue supplies. Among its vast green spaces, Saiysad National Park includes a number of wonderful waterfalls and streams flowing between rocky masses, plants, green herbs and colorful flowers.
Green Mountain Reserve
The reserve is located in the Procuratorate of Jabal Al Akhdar of the State of Nizwa, and extends over an area of about 122 square kilometers. The reserve is characterized by a Mediterranean climate, despite being within the semi-dry climate belt and little rain, but its high altitude above sea level (2980 meters) created a different local climate, as temperatures drop during the winter to less than zero, with precipitation Snow sometimes, and rises in the summer to 22 degrees Celsius, and therefore it is one of the most natural reserves in the Arab world that visitors visit, especially in the summer months.
Jahra Reserve
The Jahra Reserve or the Birkat Al Birkat Reserve is a Kuwaiti natural reserve that was established in the year 1987 within the forestation area in the east of the city of Jahra to provide a haven for the settled and migratory birds. The birds that cross Kuwait from east to west and from north to south, which are estimated at 250 species of birds, and being a coastal region where the waters of torrents gather and contain some cultivated trees such as willows.
