Uganda National Cultural Center
The center sponsors cultural and artistic activities in Uganda. Located in the heart of the capital, Kampala, it houses two main bodies: the National Theater and the Nommo Gallery. The National Theater is responsible for organizing and hosting various theatrical events, in addition to the cinema hall. The Nomo Gallery includes art and craft fairs and is a center of eclectic art.
The center also has a snack bar that serves cheap and delicious dishes. The Handicraft Village, which displays traditional handicrafts, is also a prominent part of the center.
Handcraft market
