The park is scheduled to open next summer, with an area of more than 100,000 square meters, as well as attracting a 70-meter dismantled Boeing 747, the largest of its kind to be submerged underwater.
The diving area will also include a traditional Bahraini pearl merchant’s house, in addition to other statues made of environmentally friendly materials, as the project was commissioned in partnership with the Supreme Council for Environment of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority (BREA), with many other private sector companies.
Bahrain plans to allocate the aforementioned park a step on the path to wildlife conservation and a safe haven for coral growth.
