Fernando de Noronha
Plan ahead if you want to visit Fernando de Noronha, an archipelago of 21 islands in the Atlantic Ocean. To protect these fragile islands, only 460 tourists are allowed to visit them daily, and you will definitely want to include Fernando de Noronha on your trip. The water surrounding the archipelago is clear and full of fish, dolphins and turtles, making it ideal for snorkeling and diving. You will also find plenty of beautiful deserted beaches, impressive bays and stunning waterfalls on these islands.
Big Island Ilha Grande
Over the years, Ilha Grande, which means big island in Portuguese, has been used for some interesting purpose, as it has been, for example, a prison that houses some of Brazil’s worst criminals for more than 90 years. But once the prison was closed in 1994, the island began attracting tourists with its beautiful beaches and magnificent rainforests. And because Ilha Grande is a nature reserve, it is home to astonishing wildlife, including monkeys, parrots, iguana and piglets.
Tinhari Island Ilha de Tinharé
This beautiful island is famous for the village of Morro de Sao Paulo. Ilhabela
