Sarajevo City Council Building

Al-Ghazi Mosque Khusrow Bey
Gazi Husrev-bey Mosque is an historical and archaeological landmark, built in the year one thousand and five hundred and thirty, by order of Ghazi Khusraw Bey who ruled the city of Sarajevo during the period (1521-1541 AD), and the mosque is distinguished by its impressive architectural design The classical Ottoman, and a huge stone dome with a height of about twenty-six meters, is located on its surface. The minaret is about forty-seven meters high. Visitors and non-Muslims can visit the mosque and see its features outside the prayer times.
The Emperor’s Mosque
The Emperor’s Mosque is located on the southern bank of the Milyatska River, which is a historical archaeological mosque, built in the year one thousand four hundred and fifty-seven by order of the Governor of Sarajevo, Issa Ishakovic, and thus is considered the oldest mosque in Bosnia Restoration, repair, and expansion, to appear as it is today a large mosque that can accommodate about five hundred worshipers.
