Beijing Zoo Zoo is one of the tourism landmarks in China and one of the oldest parks in it as it dates back to 1906 and is considered in addition to being a zoo, it is a center for research and care of endangered animal species.
The park is located in downtown Beijing in Xicheng District and occupies an area of 89 hectares containing lakes and green spaces and includes a zoo with 450 wildlife species in addition to more than 500 species of marine animals, bringing the total number of animals to approximately 14500 animals.
