Tbilisi Zoo, the oldest and largest zoo in Georgia, was founded in 1927, in the Fair River valley in Tbilisi city center.
The park contained about 300 different species of animals from the Caucasus and other regions around the world, but it was affected by a flood that invaded Tbilisi in 2015 to inspect a number of its animals.
Tbilisi Zoo is still one of the most important places of tourism in Georgia, Tbilisi and has many visitors.
