The establishment of the Shubra Museum Palace dates back to 1995 in a historic building that was built in 1904 in the city of Taif
The palace was a residence for the royal family in the city before it opened as a historical museum, and it is now well-known among the touristic places in Saudi Arabia.
The museum building is distinguished by its unique architectural style, in which the Romen character blends Islam with some of the traditional architectural styles of the Hijaz region at the time.
The museum consists of a cellar, four storeys above it, along with some external accessories and gardens, and includes 150 rooms containing antique exhibits.
