Tourism in Kenya
Kenya contains many attractive tourist areas, and picturesque places, where it has many national parks, wildlife reserves, various coastal beaches and mountain peaks. There are many tourist places in Kenya, including the following:
Masai Mara National Reserve
Masai Mara National Reserve is a popular tourist destination, which includes a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards and crocodiles, and is one of the main sites for wild migration.
The capital, Nairobi
The capital Nairobi contains many attractive sites such as the elephant, the giraffe center, ostriches and crocodiles, as well as a number of museums such as the National Museum.
Amboseli National Park
The Amboseli National Park is one of the most popular places in Kenya, which overlooks the highest peak in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro, and its most important tourist attractions are the wonderful and magnificent Elephant Sanctuary, and provides its visitors with a variety of games to satisfy all tastes.
The city of Mombasa
The city of Mombasa is located along the coast of the Indian Ocean, and smells of the colonial history of Kenya through the historic old city, the Portuguese fort and buildings that mix Islamic and Portuguese architecture.
Lamu Old Town
The ancient city of Lamu is one of the coastal cities famous for its beautiful coastal buildings. It was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001.
Sibelwe National Park
The Sibelwe National Park is located in the northernmost tip of Kenya, and contains sites excavated by scientists from the University of Nairobi to discover human homes dating back to 1968.
