The city of Naypyidaw is a modern city, and it does not possess ancient historical roots. It was established in the year two thousand and four, and its location was chosen in an isolated area about 320 km from the former capital of the country (Yangon City), in order to facilitate access to government agencies from different countries, The actual announcement of the capital was achieved in the month of March of the year two thousand and six, noting that the main features in the beginning were the military airport, luxury hotels, government buildings, and apartments for civil servants.
With the passage of time, the infrastructure has been developed, and more land roads and railways have been established, and it should be noted that construction and construction work has been carried out by about twenty-five construction companies, and commissioned by the military government, where the construction of the new capital of the country was officially completed in the year of Two thousand and twelve.
