The marvel of building the pyramids of Giza

The Great Pyramid

The pyramid of Khufu is the tallest man-made structure until the year 1800 AD, which consists of approximately 2.3 million stone blocks, which weigh approximately 5.75 million tons, and each of its sides is crossed on the directions of the various compasses: north, south, east and west.

Sentry Pyramid

It was built by Khafri Ibn Khufu, which is the second pyramid, and it is located to the southwestern side of the pyramid of Khufu.

The Menkor Pyramid

The third pyramid is the smallest of the three pyramids, and was built at a height of 67 meters by Ibn Khafri Mankur.


It is a statue of a fictional creature, possessing the head of a man and the body of a lion, and its height is 20 meters, and its length is 73.5 meters, and it is located in front of the Great Pyramid. Al-Jiri, and it has been revealed from history that it is an example of King Khafra who is the ruler of Egypt between the years 2558-2532 BC, and is the oldest memorial statue in the Republic of Egypt.
