Jabal Abdul Aziz owns a reserve for deer and the ancient castle of Sakra. Jabal Abdul Aziz is one of the environmental reserves that fall under the list of the World Environmental Organization. It is also one of the most important terrain features in the province of Al-Hasakah. Its northern slopes are also characterized by its steep slope that is cut by deep valleys. The southern mountain is characterized by its low slope relative to the northern slopes, and it consists of dolomitic and Marlite limestone.
The climate of Jabal Abdul Aziz
Mount Abdul Aziz is characterized by a medium continental climate, divided into a semi-dry and fresh day in the upper part of it, while the rest of the mountain belongs to a dry and fresh day, according to the classification of Ambergé, and the mountain witnesses annual precipitation rates ranging from 250-300 mm, according to the atlas The Syrian climate in 1977 and meteorological data for the years (2001-2002)

Jabal Abdul Aziz is home to many trees, as he owns an artificial forest of pine trees for the purpose of hiking, and is also the original and main habitat for konjok and Atlantic trees, in addition to other secondary trees such as: hawthorn trees, oriental almond trees, figs and Palestinian Sweden, as well as a number of pastoral plants among its lands. Perennials such as qaisum, thyme, heirs, and sorghum. Jabal Abdul Aziz also contains many plants that are used in medicine such as wormwood, wild thyme, furrow, peppermint, graves, chamomile, seals, bakeries, poppies, Hermel, and qaisum. Wild ur such as partridge, sparrow, eagle, ravine, pigeon, owl, grave, hoopoe, lord, crow, jungle and cat, as biological diversity appears in this region through the presence of some wild animals as well, such as wolves, foxes, rabbits, deer, and many others.
