The region, which dates back to the year 1850, was originally a warehouse for storing coal until the 1980s, after which it turned into a nightclub area and the area is now being re-seen as a destination for retail, lifestyle and fashion.

The area is characterized by its Victorian stone buildings, while it is located next to the Regent Canal – and Kings Cross Station.

Heatherwick Studio’s project will be developed by British designer Thomas Heatherwick.

The new project includes 65 units with different areas to provide a selection of boutiques and restaurants, and the project is expected to be completed in 2020.
