Faunia Botanical Garden & Zoo is located in Madrid, on an area of approximately 14 hectares.
The park was opened in 2001 AD, and it is currently considered one of the most important tourist places in Spain. It includes 700 animal species and nearly a thousand species of plants.
The park also includes several buildings of different designs, a number of lakes, children’s playgrounds, and restaurants, in addition to facilities suitable for people with special needs.

• You and your children can take a stroll through the garden and move between its different environments, on a tour that takes you from the forests of Africa to the frozen poles.
You can also visit the Rare Plants Museum, which displays several species belonging to various environments from all over the world, such as unique mushrooms.
• Then start your tour between the various animal cages in the zoo, from insects and reptiles threatened with extinction, to large crocodiles and snakes.
• Among the most prominent places that you must visit in the garden, the Royal Penguins Basin, and rare fish ponds that belong to multiple environments.
• The park also offers many events for visitors’ enjoyment, such as the daily water theater shows of dolphins and sea lions that will amaze you with their smart dances.
• Your children can also spend time on children’s playgrounds, or you can visit various bird houses, such as ostriches, pelicans, and colorful parrots.
Certainly, you can visit many types of wild animals and pets that live in the garden, such as deer, giraffes, lemurs, and some types of rodents.
