Parc de la Ciutadella is located on the northern edge of the old district of Barcelona and was built in the mid-19th century.
For decades, it was the only green space that is considered the sanctuary of the people of the city, and its area is 280,000 square meters.

Throughout the year, the closing time for the zoo and museum is 8 pm, while Parliament Palace guided tours are only on Saturdays from 10 am to 7 pm.
