The Souq Waqif building is more than 100 years old and is located near the Musheireb Valley in Doha

• The market also includes many shops specialized in selling distinctive souvenirs, in terms of wood carvings, glass and metal parts, and others.
• Do not forget to pass the famous spice market, which includes all kinds of spices, traditional Qatari grains, and Arabic varieties, along with some international spices.
• If you love pets, you can find them in the animal sale gallery that includes parrots, rabbits, cats and other animals.
• You have to go through the Al Rayyan Theater, which can accommodate about a thousand people, and you may be lucky to attend one of the concerts that is famous for.
• Visit the Souq Waqif Center for the Arts, which brings together a selection of small shops displaying some handicrafts.
• Then eat a traditional meal in one of the market restaurants, or some refreshments and sweets in one of the cafes overlooking the arcades of the shops.
