The Zurich Zoo is one of the largest zoos in Rapperswil on the banks of the famous Lake Zurich, because of the size of its estimated area of 11,000 square meters where each animal has a suitable and appropriate place for it.
The zoo contains about 300 species of animals, such as the wild bear and the bears that live in the snowy mountains, apart from aquatic life, reptiles, penguins and some rare animals threatened with extinction.
