Mandraki Harbor

The only vital port that can receive yachts in Rhodes is of a long history, where scholars believe that one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Colossus statue was once part of this port. Today you can see many statues, sculptures, windmills, St. Nicholas Castle and others … Besides the historical importance, you will find in the port many tourist yachts, fishing boats, restaurants and cafes surrounding it.

Old cameros

Kameros was the most prominent city on the northwestern coast of Rhodes, and with two additional cities, it formed what looked like an independent state in the past. You can take a trip in the folds of the past by visiting archaeological sites from the city that were mentioned in the writings of the historian Homer, especially examining the three levels in them: the Acropolis from above, the population areas in the middle, and the water tanks at the bottom.

Once built in 1740, the Monolithos Palace was considered one of the most powerful castles used to protect Rhodes. Although many of the palace’s monuments are not preserved today, the impressive panoramic view that it provides deserves to be included in the list of highlights in Rhodes. Inside the palace, two fifteen churches can be found.

Acropolis of Lindos

The succession of many Acropolis controllers of Lindos led to a prominent archaeological site, rising to 115 meters with sea view. This important tourist attraction can be reached through its own walking path, at the end of which it reaches the summit where the Acropolis is still in good condition.

Anthony Quinn Bay

Although world famous actor Anthony Quinn traces his origins back to Mexico, he has filmed many notable cinematic works in Greece, including “Zaruba of Greece” and “Guns of the Navarone”, particularly in Faliraki. When the actor was playing his part, he bought part of this island. Therefore, the area was renamed from Fagis Bay to Anthony Quinn Bay, about 1 km from Faliraki. Besides its distinctive story, the bay is home to crystal clear waters that blend with rock formations that make the shore a perfect beach in Rhodes. The Gulf is also popular among yachts and boats lovers, where you can go there in the morning and enjoy the scenery.

Lindos Beach

The beach is located south of the heart of Rhodes and is considered a prominent tourist destination because of its attractive waters and the presence of some ancient ruins in its surroundings. Lindos was once the seat of the meeting between the Greeks and the Phoenicians and later turned into a prominent commercial center, especially a mixed-use temple whose monuments still constitute an important tourist center. It is worth noting that the beach is a crowded place with tourists, so you should consider coming early before going bustling.

Tsambika Beach

One of the most beautiful beaches of Rhodes and Greece is the beach of Tsambika, which stretches for hundreds of meters of turquoise waters in golden sand. The beach is a suitable place for families and it also hosts many sporting events.
