The ruins of Esbij Castle in eastern Slovakia constitute one of the largest castle sites in Central Europe.
The castle is located above the town of Bodrady Spieski, the village of Zahra, in the region known as Esbij, within the Esbij castle complex for exhibitions and the Esbij Museum on the history of the castle, weapons in the Middle Ages and feudal justice.
Aspeg Castle was included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 1993 AD, along with the adjacent sites of Spiسكاska Capitola, Bodrady Spiske, Zahra.
Asbj Castle is one of the largest European castles in the region (41 426 m²).
Asbeg Castle represents an amazing and enormous structure, extending across the surrounding areas within a large area of 4 hectares, and belongs to among the largest castle complexes in Europe.
