“Acme” is a Greek word meaning “the best”, and when you open the door of this elegant and comfortable restaurant, the concept becomes clear, from the menu to the decor. Entrance to the ASEM Café & Bar is almost like entry into New York City – with clean steel lines, comfortable sofas, plush pillows, and floor-to-ceiling glass walls that allow natural light to enter. All of this enhances jazz soft background.
The ASEM Café and Bar, winner of the Best New Restaurant Award at the 2012 Time Out Food Kuala Lumpur Awards, promises you the best ingredients that prove with any embryo of their high quality. There are seasonal items on the menu, but there are also classic foods that keep their returning customers returning for more. For some Asian flavor, try grilled salt egg chicken slices served in a pan skillet, all warm and fresh. And Sambal Hebei Spaghetti Aglio Alio, which is similar to an old pasta dish with a dash of spices and spices, thanks to Sambal.
The comprehensive breakfast menu is also worth noting, from 9:30 until 17:00 (comfortable for late risers!). We recommend delicious Benedict beef eggs, but there are also delicious fruit yogurt for those who want a healthy choice. Try it with any coffee, and you’ll get a great start to your day.
Desserts are high on our list too, with the first-of-its-kind cocoa cake. Moist, and has a special flavor, but not very strong, the cake is best-selling and sometimes runs early. If you still have room after muffins, you can relax with light pavlova in the air – it lives up to its name, with enough fresh berries above the meringue. Nut brownie with ice cream is served on top on a hot plate and chocolate sauce is poured onto the table for the sizzling effect. Hot and cold brownie worked with cold Oreo ice cream together well. Putting food aside, Asim Café and Bar offers a lot of variety in their drinks menu as well. They range from detox juices such as combinations of apples, carrots, celery and ginger to gourmet Tea Forte tea, and thirst drinks here which are a treat on their own.
The ASEM Café & Bar is located on the ground floor of Trika Building, a luxury residential commercial building located a stone’s throw from KLCC Kuala Lumpur City Center. The easiest way to get to the cafe is by crossing the KLCC Park to get to The Troika from the Twin Towers, or stop at Ampang Park LRT Station, and it shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes on foot.
