But all these problems ended after the construction of the Bukit Bintang Walkway, which was opened in 2012 by Datuk Seri Naguib Tun Razak – Prime Minister of Malaysia as a safe, comfortable and convenient alternative to the crowded pedestrian city roads.
The walkway is divided into two parts:
On the first side, you find the walkway with a length of 1.173 km that connects the lamp of the Lambiana Hotel and Kuala Lumpur Convention Center.
As for the other side of this corridor, it is a pedestrian tunnel with many entrances and exits along the bridge.
