Piccadilly Circus is one of London’s most popular tourist destinations. Here you can sit at the famous statue of Eros (popular meeting point), or to take some photos in front of the distinctive billboards.

From here, you can easily reach Regent Street, Piccadilly or Soho
As the busy square in the heart of London, Piccadilly Circus is famous for its fountain installed here since the end of the nineteenth century, and this square has been converted into a smaller version of Times Square.
The circus lies at the intersection with the five main roads and they are: Regent Street, Shaftesbury Street, Piccadilly Street, Abbey Street and Haymarket. They were created by John Nash as part of King George IV’s plan to connect the Carlton House – where Prince Regent resided – with Regent’s Park.
Memorial Shaftsbury Fountain
In the center of the circus area, the Memorial Shaftesbury Fountain, which was built in 1893, stands. The seminude statue is located on top of the fountain whose name has been changed to the god of love and beauty.
Illuminated signs
Piccadilly Circus is surrounded by illuminated billboards on buildings, starting in 1908. As of 2014, the site had six illuminated advertising screens above three large retail units, the area facing the Piccadilly Circus on the northern side. There are many signs for Burger King, Samsung, Nescafe, Hyundai Motors, and many other famous brands, in addition to the Coca-Cola Company banner in Piccadilly Circus since 1954.
Subway station, Bakerloo and Piccadilly lines

It is one of the few stations that do not have buildings above ground, while all are completely underground. The station is located on the Piccadilly line between Green Park and Leicester Square, and the Bakerloo Line between Charing Cross and Oxford Circus.
