Its use is already in the construction of an eco-friendly home named “Jill”

The house, which has become a luxurious resort of straw, is built with small water generators powered by, and guests are encouraged to recycle and use only public transportation during their stay.
The house has floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning views of Loch Sunart and Morvern Hills, and features sliding glass doors leading to a balcony.
The house accommodates up to five guests in two rooms. The spiral staircase provides access to a large lower deck, where there is a hot tub and dining and seating areas, and there is also a telescope for viewing stars and wildlife.
It is reported that the house is being run by the owners of “Robert” and “Justin Dan”, who built the straw house as a resource for them after they retired.
