The Samsun Hayvanat Bahçesi Zoo is 22 acres and is the largest of its kind in the Black Sea region in northern Turkey.
The park is located near the Sevgi Park in the Elkadm district of Samsun, and is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Samsun.
The park was opened in the year 2005 AD and hosts more than 200 animals, which approx approximately 45 different species of wild animals.
The park is divided into 27 sections that include among them three lakes and a shelter for birds, and it embraces many domestic animals such as goats.

• The park administration also allows visitors to approach domestic animals such as goats, sheep and chickens, and your little ones will be happy to fondle and feed the garden rabbits.
• Do not forget to pass the turkey cages, as the garden embraces some rare species, and you can also visit the peacock cage, which is famous for the beauty of its colors.
