Heydarpasa station
Architects Otto Ritter and Helmuth Conu built Haider Pasha station that connects Istanbul, Medina, Damascus, and finally the road to Anatolia, as it is one of the best distinctive images on the Istanbul skyline Besides being a symbolic gateway to it, the Haider station was damaged during World War I, but later it was rebuilt according to its current form, and it also witnessed a period of the country’s transition from the Ottoman Empire to the Turkish Republic.
Qapi Brick Palace
Sultan Mehmed II built the Topkapi Palace between 1460 and 1478, and was the seat of the Ottoman Sultans’ residence and court, as well as being an administrative and educational center of the state, and after the sultans moved to the palace located on the Bosphorus Strait known as the Tulmagh Bagh Palace (in English: Dolmabahçe Palace) and by order From Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, it was converted to a museum in 1924 after the abolition of the Ottoman monarchy over it.
