Niamey is the capital of Niger
The capital of Niger, which is the largest city in Niger and the administrative and economic center, is due in large part to its location on the banks of the Niger River at the crossroads between two major highways in the country.

It is also one of the largest uranium deposits in the world, however most of the people work in the services sector.

Among the most important crops in Niamey are cowpea, cotton, peanuts, corn and rice. As for livestock, it depends on raising cows, sheep, goats, camels, horses and poultry.
Niamey climate
Its desert climate is hot, dusty, and tropical in the far south, with rainfall amounts ranging from 500 mm to 750 mm annually, usually storms begin in May, and then accelerate with the appearance of monsoon rains between June to early September, average monthly temperatures reach 38 degrees Celsius and it goes down to less than 32 degrees Celsius, during the dry season, especially in the period from November to February, it is cold at night, with average temperatures ranging between 14 degrees Celsius and 18 degrees Celsius.
Religion in Niamey
The number of Muslims in it is about 90%, which is the largest percentage, after that Christianity, and a little Baha’i. French (official), Hausa and Jerma, and its currency is the franc.
