Stone house

Dar Al-Hajar is a stone palace in the Yemeni city of Sanaa, imagined to the viewer that it was carved in the towering rock that was built on it, and the palace was built in the Middle Eastern style in the thirties of the last century by an Islamic spiritual leader called Yahya Muhammad Hamid al-Din, who was assassinated in 1948 AD, however its picturesque palace is still standing and has become one of the most important examples of Yemeni architecture, and at the present time the palace has been renovated and converted into a museum that can be visited and moved between its parts represented by kitchens, storage rooms, and meeting rooms connected by twisted stairs inside the five-story building .

Old city of Sanaa

The ancient city of Sanaa was built in a mountain valley at an altitude of 2200 m, and it became inhabited more than 2,500 years ago, and in the seventh and eighth centuries the city became a major center for spreading Islam, and it preserved its religious and political heritage, which is manifested in 103 mosques, 14 bathrooms, and more than 6000 homes Dating back to before the eleventh century, the ancient city is characterized by the spread of destroyed lands, scorched and brick buildings, which rise several floors above the floors built of stone, and decorated with geometric patterns of fiery bricks and white plaster.

Socotra Island

Socotra Island is located approximately 355 km from Yemen, and is famous for its impressive biological diversity, as it is home to many strange creatures and plants that have the ability to adapt to the island’s ecosystem, which is considered harsh in terms of heat and drought, which led to its unique appearance. There are about 800 rare species of plants and animals on this island, and the island is the original home for nearly a third of it, as it cannot be found anywhere else in the world. Among the unique creatures found in Socotra are the following:
